HOW TO PRINT A PDF SEWING PATTERN

Download the pattern on your computer/mobile first.
Do not print in Preview or any other software (not straight from Dropbox, My Computer, Finder…). Print only from Adobe Acrobat Reader (downloadable for free from the Adobe site get.adobe.com/reader/).
On A4 and US Letter size paper, print with the printer settings: “Actual size” and “Auto” (on some printers use “Portrait”). Deselect “Choose paper source by Pdf page size”.
Check if the page is fully visible in the little window of the printer software.
Tablets and mobile phones might need an app, to print properly.
Use “original size” and “auto rotate”.
The digital file that contains the pattern is tiled.
Each page has a large rectangle inside. It should be fully visible.
The printer settings may need changes until each big rectangle is 10 inches (25.4cm) long.
Little gray squares are added to guide the layout of the printed pages, as there is a built-in overlap to minimize differences in outputs among home printers.

HOW TO ASSEMBLE A PDF PATTERN

Once you have printed your pattern and ensured that it has printed full size, assemble the pattern as per the Overview Table.
Organize your printed pages in a grid according to Row letter, then Column number (Row A/Column 1, Row A/Column 2… Row B/Column 1, Row B/Column 2, etc.).
Trim TOP and LEFT margins (There should not be any “White Space” on the TOP or LEFT of printed pages).
It’s not necessary to trim the TOP margin of Row A.
It’s not necessary to trim the LEFT margin of column 1.
Lay the printed pages from Left to Right, Top to Bottom, overlapping each sheet (do not overlap the small little gray squares, but lay them next to each other).
To adhere pages together, turn sheet over, then apply a thin layer of glue to the top and right edges of each sheet, EXCEPT the top edge of Row A and the right edge of Column 1.
Match the gray squares by laying them next to each other.
Cut out the pattern in the size you need and you’re ready to sew!
