This works in so many fabrics and my granddaughter loves those pockets. I love the fact it can be in knit or woven. I shall be making it many more times as she is only 2 at the moment!

I made this pinafore for my two granddaughters who have recently moved to Canada (from Scotland). I made them in Black Watch tartan to remind them they might be half Canadian but they're also half Scottish! I left off the pockets as I couldn't be bothered faffing with the pattern matching. I don't think it spoils the dresses at all. I also only did facings on the front and back rather than fully lining the dresses. I LOVE them and will most definitely be making more - maybe with pockets if there's no pattern to match!

Love this little pinafore 🥰 Pattern was recommended to me as suitable for a beginner, and it definitely was 👍 Instructions were very easy to follow and the pinafore came together very quickly. Have plans to make another one in a heavier fabric.
