Love this pattern. Instructions were great and I like that it uses a ribbed waistband on woven fabric. Two pairs for my tall, skinny grandson - just out of nappies and enjoys being able to get these up and down easily - definitely an added bonus!

I bought the shorts and pants sewing pattern because it looks quite grown up and is suitable for both woven and knits. I love the slashed front pockets and the back pockets and the knit waistband makes them easy to pull on and off. The pattern can accommodate children in diapers and those who aren't, which is such a bonus. I will be able to use this pattern for years as my grandson grows. They are a quick, easy make and fit perfectly.

Such a great little sew. I made the very casual pants in a cotton linen blend for my 11mo grandson. Great for those in between season wears. Terrific instructions as always. Thank you Puperita ♥️

I chose these shorts for the combination of a comfy waistband and the option to use light weight woven fabric for the summer, and it is exactly as good as I had hoped. I love the waist tie, allowing for fluctuating waist sizes, and the optional pockets. Definitely recommend and I will be making many more (note: these shorts were upcycled from a pair of pyjama trousers, and the pockets are from the PJ trousers, not the VeryCasual pattern)

Smashing pattern, I paired it with the very casual shirt. Using a light denim fabric, I was very happy at how they turned out- easy to follow instructions.

These pants are just the style my boy likes and I think he rocks them! I don't know why but i've always shyed away from adding the waistband cord but i thpught i would give it a whirl! Why oh why had i not discovered adding them sooner! It was super easy and looks so good! Ill be adding them more often in the future but they are an option in this pattern. I will be making many more!

I absolutely love these pants! I love faux flat felled seams they look amazing and elevate this pattern. They are easy to do but look super special. The ribbing for a waist band makes them super soft for the little ones

These stylish pants are super fast, even with the pockets! The soft waistband is perfect for babies. I love them and think my Squish will wear them for Easter. 🐇
