Here's an easy wrap coat pattern that has the cutest pointed hood and a side button closure. There is a hidden tie or snap on the opposite side. The sleeves had a few extra inches to roll up so we have some growing room for next year!

Cute jacket for babies and children of all ages. I especially love this style for young babies as the wrap over front gives an extra layer to keep baby warm, and the style also makes it easier for getting jacket on and off baby. Hood is optional, but why wouldn't you want a hood this cute ? The bonus is it can be made in most fabrics, knit or woven and being fully lined means no exposed seams. This jacket is perfect to pair with the Cutie Pinafore or romper ( pattern sold separately)

I love this little jacket! I made mine without the hood for a newborn and with the inside ribbon ties, but plan on making it for an older grandchild with the hood and with the snap tabs. It is so versatile and sewed up super fast with all seams enclosed so now scratchy seams on baby's skin. I paired it with the pinafore and love the look! Great tutorial with clear photos of every step.
