The Hey Sunshine shorts are so quick and easy to whip up! The timing for this pattern is perfect since I've seen a number of ready-to-wear culottes with paperbag waists this season. I was delighted that the shorts make such a cute outfit with the Hey Sunshine top.

Yet again you have out done yourself a beautiful pattern very easy to make up but as it went with the sunshine top it was gone before I took a photo.

Culottes are back! These Sunshine shorts have a cute paperbag waistband and pair perfectly with the Sunshine top for an easy breezy Summer set. They are a fast project and princess approved!

These shorts are super quick to sew and very comfortable. The tutorial explains every step so they are easy enough for a beginner and the results are very professional and super cute. She requested for more in different fabrics, we never fail with Puperita patterns :).

I am never very fast at making garments but these lovely shorts very honestly such a quick make! The shorts had a lovely skirt like effect, even in the thicker denim that I chose. The paper bag waist looked very neat and girly on my little one. The instructions were clear and easy to follow and anyone of any skill level should be able to make them in almost no time at all. I can definitely recommend this pattern and will be making many more in the future!

These were lightening fast to sew and look so cute. I love the paperbag waist and the roomy legs that don't rub on baby's chunky thighs. I will be making more of these darling shorts.

What a stylish shorts pattern this is ! I love the wide leg style which gives the appearance of a skirt, but the dignity of shorts when a child wants to be active, whether cartwheeling, doing handstands or just wanting to look elegant! Very on trend for this Summer and a great option if you are looking for practical school wear in the new school year. There's also a pretty Hey Sunshine top with flutter sleeves, that pair up perfectly with these fabulous shorts. Both patterns look great together or can be worn independently with other clothing, making them both such versatile patterns. The shorts pattern calls for woven fabrics or even French Terry, Sweater or lightweight wool. I have made 2 pairs, one in age 10 years in olive green linen, and one in age 2 years in a lovely peach cotton woven. I plan to make many more and will try a variety of suggested fabrics. Great pattern!

The Hey Sunshine shorts are such a great pattern! I love the waistband detail. So cute and so comfy for little ones on the move and playing ☺️. I posted these shorts with the Hey sunshine top and the outfit is so sweet!

These are the best woven shorts I have sewn hands down! The fit is superb and they are great for playing and exploring.
